In addition, personal information relating to the injury or medical issues of an individual may also be disclosed to us. Any personal information provided to us will be used solely in connection with the management of the relevant individual’s case or enquiry and may be disclosed to third parties such as the instructed medical expert(s) as required.
PT Medico-Legal will only request information necessary to handle a claim, case, or enquiry appropriately.

PT Medico-Legal keeps all personal information strictly confidential and takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.
All data is stored securely on our EU-based cloud storage systems and is not transferred outside of the UK or EEA.
No third parties will have access to personal information held by PT Medico-Legal unless required to do so as part of an individual’s claim or enquiry, or when required by law.
Data Retention
We are required under UK law to retain information for a minimum of seven (7) years or until the conclusion of a case, whichever is longer.
After this period, both electronic and paper records will be securely destroyed.
In certain circumstances — for example, where ordered by a court — we may be required to retain information indefinitely. If this applies, you will be informed.
